DPM: London Contour
Maharishi reveals its latest pattern, DPM: London Contour, which honours the history of cartography and the continued exploration of the art of camouflage.
Cartography and mapmaking have been amongst the most important developments in human history for millennia, allowing explorers to traverse the planet and interpret the world around them. Shown through lines connecting points of equal elevation, contours are the most distinguishable factor of topographic maps, helping to define arrangements in landforms throughout nature.
Maharishi abstracts contoured maps for its GREAT EAST/WEST OUTDOORS collection, incorporating a stylised outline of London for a DPM pattern which places 2-3 Great Pulteney Street, Maharishi’s base, in its centre. The capsule reflects the overarching collection theme of travel, as well as Maharishi’s integral brand pillars of pacifist military design and duality, shown through highlights such as reversible iterations of utilitarian outerwear.
The selection includes organic cotton sweats, lightweight cargo pants, Cordura workwear, and accessories.
